Chelsea are reportedly targeting Roma‘s centre-back Antonio Rudiger as they look to strengthen their back-line.
Reports have emerged that the German international is wanted by new Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, who is set to orchestrate a major overhaul at the West London side once he takes over in the summer.
According to Sky Sport Italia, The Blues may be wiling to fork out an estimated fee of around €30 million to secure the services of the 23-year-old, who is currently on-loan from German side, Stuttgart.
Furthermore, the central defender isn’t the only Giallorossi player who has been linked with the current English champions, as midfield enforcer Radja Nainggolan looks increasingly set for a move to Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger arrived from Germany in 2015 and has been a mainstay in Roma’s back-line forming a defensive partnership with team-mate Kostas Manolas, which has produced seven clean sheets.
