AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini has refused to rule out a return to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza despite not being offered a role by the Rossoneri since his retirement.
The 47-year-old wants to help his former club and could accept a role as an executive if he was offered one by Il Diavolo. But the former Milan captain admitted that he would give serious consideration before accepting the position as he believes it would not be a simple decision to return to the San Siro.
“The president, Silvio Berlusconi, has made choices which I have not agreed on in the past six years since my last game for the club,” Maldini told Sky Sport.
“However if I can give something back to the club that has given me so much then I would like to go back.
“But I will decide with my head.
“It would be a difficult decision for me, I would have to take some time to consider my options.”
