Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stated he is contented with his side’s 2-2 result against Juventus in their Champions League clash.
Despite the Bianconeri’s spirited comeback which saw the German giants have their two goals cancelled out, the former Inter player believes that result is in the favour of the Bavarians.
“We must not make the mistake of getting angry with this result, even if we were leading by two goals during the game,” the 60-year-old said, as reported by CalcioNews24.com.
“This is a very positive result as it leaves us in a good position to qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition,”
“I’m confident we can do it, we can qualify. The coach and the team will do their utmost best to prepare for the second leg in three weeks time.”
