Clubs pursuing Inter forward Mauro Icardi will need to part ways with €40 million if they are to obtain his services.
The former Sampdoria player’s future at the Nerazzurri has been in doubt especially with Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United displaying strong interest to recruit him in the summer.
According to the the Sunday Mirror, potential new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to add Icardi to his attacking ranks as he looks to overhaul the current squad and have them competing for top honours once again.
The 23-year-old may have recently committed his future to the Beneamata, however he candidly admitted that he could change his mind should Jose Mourinho take over the reins at the Red Devils, or also in the event that the Blues appoint Diego Simeone as their coach.
It will take the right project and the above mentioned factors while not forgetting the sum of €40 million to convince Inter and Icardi to go their separate ways.
The Argentina international has scored a total of 43 goals for the Biscione and was awarded the 2014-2015 Capocannoniere title.
