Premier League clubs Manchester City and Chelsea will have to meet Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba’s large wage demands if they are to secure his signature.
The former Manchester United player has been the subject of numerous rumours linking him with a move away from Turin with a return to the Premier League seen as the most likely destination.
According to The Daily Star, The Citizen and The Blues are two candidates that are strongly interested in the 22-year-old French international but could be deterred by his wage demands which are rumoured to be close to €380,000 a week.
Despite the demands, the the two clubs are confident the higher television revenue guaranteed in the Premier League will allow them to see off competition from other top European clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Pogba has been a revelation since arriving at the Juventus Stadium from England in 2012 and has been instrumental in helping the club achieve four consecutive Scudetti while scoring a total of 25 goals.
